Job Summary:
 
The Marketing Coordinator provides first-in-class marketing support for the sales teams and other departments through collaboration and by executing marketing campaigns, lead generating events and internal initiatives. With responsibilities ranging from purchasing promotional items to implementing a marketing campaign, the Marketing Coordinator brings strong attention to detail and organization to all projects. The Marketing Coordinator enables clear communication and fosters a dealership-wide culture of teamwork, serving as the point of contact between the marketing, sales and leadership teams. The Marketing Coordinator also manages relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure alignment with the dealership's brand and standards.
 
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and relationship-builder, skilled in facilitating collaboration across dealership departments and teams and with external parties. Exceptional project management skills are also critical, as the Marketing Coordinator directs execution for multiple projects simultaneously.
 
Job Responsibilities: 
  • Use exceptional project management skills to organize and implement campaigns, events and programs, and manage responsibilities to maximize performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with designers, writers and creative agencies with concept development, copywriting and editing for both digital and print communications.
  • Drive marketing execution. Ensure business units have the marketing materials and tools they need.
  • Collaborate and implement the overall Marketing plan for various business segments.
  • Manages the tasks of others externally to ensure projects are completed per plan.
  • Understand and maintain core positioning, messaging and segmentation for our products through advertising and promotional strategies and new product development.
  • Bolster the dealership's marketing and advertising efforts by selecting and ordering promotional items that are on brand, complement marketing strategies and attract interest from customers and leads.
  • Develop relationships with Caterpillar counterparts to align on communication strategies and marketing goals.
  • Champion the dealership brand and review marketing materials to ensure that it is used consistently across online platforms, merchandise and print communications.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related business study is required.
  • At least 3 years of progressive experience in marketing or creative functions is required
  • At least 3 years of work experience in creating and inventing Marketing and design elements.
  • Ability to invent, create, and develop.
  • Ability to set and manage priorities for individual responsibilities and tasks.
  • Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Excellent skills in written and verbal communications, planning, organizing, leadership and interpersonal relationship building.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees Ability to read, interpret and explain documents such as monthly reports,
  • Ability to write routine reports and effective correspondence for internal and external audiences
  • Strong data analysis and visualization skills perferred.
  • Ability to relate to all levels of employees and be a team player who motivates and educates other team members perferred.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit for long periods, stand, walk, bend and stoop to perform the essential functions of this job. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
