Job Description Summary


Under minimal supervision perform all assigned duties related to processing goods thru the warehouse from receiving to shipping and all the warehouse sub process’s in between, picking, put-away, recycle, housekeeping, etc. 


The Lead role is also responsible for directing, coaching and mentoring of warehouse techs on their specific team and ensuring they understand and are executing policies and procedures. The Lead should be the funnel for issues and to drive warehouse operations. The Lead is responsible when the Manager is unavailable.

 

Essential Job Duties 


Items listed are required aspects of the Warehouse Lead position and are considered essential to the operation, meaning they are required to move goods thru the Supply Chain.

  • Systemic Receipt of goods thru both RMA and PO process, both RTG owned and Customer Owned
  • Align goods with proper work streams - Customer Owned, Return to Customer, Out of Box Failure, PCI processing, To Be Repaired, Purchase Orders
  • Accurately pick parts to fill Sales Orders, parts, staging and repair service
  • Secure and follow packaging standards for all externally shipped goods, includes return instruction and inserts as needed
  • Accurate shipping of all outbound goods utilizing the tools provided, this includes ship method and addressing needs as well as labeling 
  • Ensure all needed shipping supplies are stocked to standard levels, running out is not an option
  • Complete inventory cycle counts as assigned, done on a daily basis
  • Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) training a must – forklifts (sit down/stand up), pickers
  • Focus on Safety at all time following all safety guidelines
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
  • Direct, coach and mentor other warehouse team members


Non-Essential Job Duties

Items listed are required aspects of the Warehouse Lead position but are considered non-essential to the operation, meaning they are not required to move goods thru the Supply Chain but are required to maintain overall effectiveness.

  • Keep a clean and safe working environment – Safety First Attitude
  • Housekeeping activities related a clean facility – organized, sweeping, moping, refuse removal
  • Fronting shelves for product, organization of the warehouse environment
  • Removal of empty boxes from the warehouse shelves

 

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements


  • Good communicator, organized, time management, mathematical skills
  • Dependable, reliable, act with integrity 
  • Data entry and computer skills required
  • Use of eMail required, currently utilizing the Outlook client

Education and Experience


  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years previous RTG warehouse experience


Working Conditions


Warehouse environment varies based on season. Temperatures can exceed 90 degrees on hot days with excessive humidity. Some warehouse space has environmental control others do not. During winter months temperatures can drop into the low to mid 70 degrees.


Physical Demands


  • Some standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, pushing, and pulling
  • Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs, occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 50 lbs.


Supervisory Responsibilities


None direct. All warehouse team members report to the Warehouse Manager. The Lead is responsible for directing, coaching and mentoring other warehouse team members.
