North County Site Care Specialist

Schedule:

• Regular Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Summer Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay Rate: $16.00/hour

Position Overview:
Join our team and help create clean, safe, and welcoming spaces! As a Site Care Specialist, you will play an important role in maintaining the overall appearance, cleanliness, and functionality of your assigned area. Working under the direction of building and custodial leadership, you’ll contribute to an environment where students, staff, and visitors can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a high standard of cleanliness
• Support the safe operation and upkeep of building facilities and surrounding grounds
• Follow established procedures for handling cleaning materials and equipment
• Assist with seasonal duties, including snow removal, as needed

Requirements:

• candidates will complete a fingerprint background screening, which includes a review through the Family Care Safety Registry.
• Ability to safely mix and use cleaning chemicals according to proper procedures
• Proficiency in operating custodial equipment, including buffers, gym finish applicators, mowers, blowers, and snow removal tools
• Knowledge of floor care techniques such as stripping and carpet shampooing
• Willingness and ability to assist with snow removal when required
