Job Title: Project Coordinator

Department: Engineered Process Solutions

Location: West Chester

Reports To: Branch Manager



Job Overview:

The Project Coordinator provides direct support to Project Managers, playing a critical role in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. This position is responsible for material tracking, project costing and overal admintrative support. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented administrative professional with strong computer proficiency, excellent communication skills, and a flexible, customer-focused mindset.

  • Ability to demonstrate successful negotiation tactics
  • Proven history of job management in a fast pace work environment processing multiple jobs simultaneously (preferably working with manufacturing, construction, production)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Must be an adaptable team player
  • Attention to detail is required
  • Excellent computer skills with the ability to learn company specific software.
  • Mechanical aptitude, a plus
  • 2 to 4 year degree or demonstrated experience in the field required
  • Desire to work in a small group where individual contributions are easily recognized 
  • Additional office and shop help as required
  • Microsoft Office skills including: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Purchasing experience. Netsuite or similar business system a plus
  • Experience or ability to work in a shop atmosphere. This is an office position but will require interaction with people on the shop floor.
  • Strong background in document control and file organization.
  • Must be able to pass background and reference checks; as well as drug test


Scope of Responsibility:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Work independently to create purchase orders and send to suppliers based on project needs.
  • Track materials for multiple projects. 
  • Serve as a liaison between suppliers and EPS to schedule, procure, and expedite materials as needed to hit production timelines
  • Work directly with suppliers to ensure costs and maintain timely deliveries.
  • Creating and maintaining documents that help monitor and order material as well as keep track of jobs in process and coming up.
  • Contacting and scheduling shipping contractors to deliver packages to the customer.
  • Provide administrative support to the Project Managers
  • Assis Project Managers with the master schedule of shop work to maximize productivity and meet due dates.
