Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 3 for McLaren Health System in Michigan. This position will be the lead point of contact for retail food service over multiple locations.

Travel Requirement:

This position involves regular regional travel to multiple sites and locations across Eastern and Northern Michigan. Candidates should be prepared to spend time on the road visiting different facilities, ensuring consistent support and collaboration across the region. Reliable transportation and flexibility to accommodate varying schedules are essential.

A valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s license record check is required.

What You'll Do

Help further develop our Retail framework business within healthcare
Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in regard to functional tools and systems, including point-of-service, food management systems and marketing platforms
Provide operational support such as training and development
Track compliance to key metrics
Utilize their expertise and skills to enhance our operational strategy
Experience with diverse retail concepts including café, coffee, micro markets, consumer technology including self-service and remote ordering, and gift shops/company stores

Create and deliver innovative and enriching cafe experiences for patients, family and staff daily

Mentor and develop frontline staff

Develop and maintain client and customer relationships

What You Bring

Have a strong hands-on subject matter experience in food operations, diverse retail, menu implementation, and new business deployment
Have a background in Healthcare and other retail industries preferred, cross service experience a plus
Have experience in organizations with multiple locations or business segments
Have working knowledge and ability to create spreadsheets to track metrics, analyze data offer innovative solutions

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
