As a Line Cook at Ferndale Project, you will play a crucial role in our scratch kitchen, where we take pride in crafting delicious, high-quality dishes that complement our diverse selection of craft beers. The ideal candidate should have a strong culinary background, be detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Cooking items on the line by grilling, frying, chopping, and sauteing
- Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies for service
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safe food-handling procedures
- Preparing food for service, including cutting, chopping, and mixing ingredients
- Prepare pizza dough according to established recipes and procedures
- Working with staff to ensure that orders are completed accurately and on time
- Maintaining a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Ensures proper storage and rotation of inventory
Requirements
- Experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Experience working in a high-volume and/or scratch-made kitchen preferred
- Ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions
