As a Line Cook at Ferndale Project, you will play a crucial role in our scratch kitchen, where we take pride in crafting delicious, high-quality dishes that complement our diverse selection of craft beers. The ideal candidate should have a strong culinary background, be detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Cooking items on the line by grilling, frying, chopping, and sauteing
Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies for service
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safe food-handling procedures
Preparing food for service, including cutting, chopping, and mixing ingredients
Prepare pizza dough according to established recipes and procedures
Working with staff to ensure that orders are completed accurately and on time
Maintaining a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Ensures proper storage and rotation of inventory

Requirements

Experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to lift and carry heavy items, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Experience working in a high-volume and/or scratch-made kitchen preferred
Ability to work efficiently and independently.
Ability to follow recipes and instructions
Availability to work nights and weekends
