Equipment operated at AGRU America may include forklifts with lifting capacities ranging from 5,000 lbs. to 45,000 lbs., JLG/Skylift aerial work platforms, and specialized material-handling equipment used to move oversized pipe and liner rolls.
Responsibilities
路 Load and unload inbound and outbound freight.
路 Safely operate forklifts ranging from 5,000 lbs. to 45,000 lbs., depending on plant assignment.
路 Move, stage, and store materials throughout the warehouse and storage yard.
路 Load flatbeds, vans, and other transport vehicles in accordance with shipping requirements.
路 Move and position liner rolls up to 23 feet long, 4 feet in diameter, and 5,000 lbs., and/or pipe products up to 55 feet long and 11-12 feet in diameter.
路 Generate Bills of Lading, shipping documents, and other freight paperwork.
路 Utilize scanners, computers, and warehouse systems to track inventory and shipments.
路 Communicate with drivers, carriers, vendors, and internal departments via phone and email.
路 Complete daily forklift inspections, maintain a clean work area, and follow all safety policies and OSHA requirements.
Qualifications
路 High School diploma / GED, required.
路 Forklift operating experience required; experience with 5,000 lb to 45,000 lb capacity forklifts preferred.
路 Shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred.
路 Experience handling oversized loads, pipe, or liner rolls preferred.
路 JLG/Skylift experience preferred.
路 Basic computer skills, including data entry, email, and shipping software.
路 Experience preparing Bills of Lading and shipping paperwork preferred.
路 Strong verbal and written communication skills.
路 Must be able to frequently lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
路 Must be able to work in a non-controlled environment (indoor and outdoor).
路 Ability to multitask, work independently, work effectively with others, and excellent time management skills.

路 After you have worked for Agru America for 90 days, you will begin accruing vacation at a rate of 1.54 hours per week until you reach 5 years of full time service. The accrual rate increases at 5 years of service, and 10 years of service.
路 The 1st of the month following your 90th day of employment, you will be eligible to enroll in our 401k plan offered thru John Hancock.
