Weekend Shift Warehouse Lead
We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Weekend Shift Warehouse Lead to support our expanding warehouse operations.
As we continue to grow, this role will be important in keeping the weekend shift organized, productive, safe, and aligned with daily operational priorities.
This position serves as the primary on-site leadership presence during the weekend shift. The Weekend Shift Warehouse Lead will direct warehouse team members, monitor workflow, support inbound and outbound activities, and communicate issues, delays, safety concerns, labor needs, or operational problems to management.
Schedule
Weekday Training Shift:
Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, for the first four weeks.
Regular Weekend Shift:
Friday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
Applicants must be available to work the full weekday training schedule during the initial four-week training period and consistently work the weekend schedule after training.
Responsibilities

Serve as the primary on-site leadership presence during the weekend shift
Support daily weekend warehouse operations
Assign work and keep team members focused on shift priorities
Monitor workflow, productivity, staffing, and operational needs
Assist with picking, packing, shipping, receiving, putaway, replenishment, and inventory activities as needed
Operate warehouse equipment, including order pickers, reach trucks, and dock stockers
Communicate issues, delays, labor needs, safety concerns, and operational problems to management
Ensure safety, housekeeping, and warehouse standards are followed
Support the training and coaching of warehouse team members
Help maintain accurate inventory movement and proper product handling
Lead by example through attendance, communication, urgency, and accountability
Make sound operational decisions when management is not on-site
Provide clear shift updates and communicate unresolved issues to management

Qualifications

Previous warehouse experience required
Previous warehouse leadership experience required
Forklift experience required
Experience operating order pickers, reach trucks, and dock stockers required
Forklift trainer experience preferred
Ability to work the weekday training shift for the first four weeks
Ability to consistently work Friday through Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM after training
Strong attendance and communication skills required
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Comfortable giving direction and following up with team members
Able to make sound decisions when management is not on-site
Basic computer or warehouse management system experience preferred
Must be dependable, organized, and safety-focused
Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation

What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a leader who takes ownership of the shift, identifies problems, and helps improve warehouse processes instead of waiting for constant direction.
The right person will be hands-on, organized, and comfortable holding team members accountable while also supporting training, safety, productivity, and daily execution. This person should be able to recognize workflow issues, recommend practical improvements, and help build consistent operating standards.
This is not a desk-only position. The Weekend Shift Warehouse Lead will be expected to work alongside the team, operate equipment, solve problems, and make sure shift priorities are completed safely, accurately, and on time.
