The Maintenance Building & Grounds Technician at Basin Harbor is responsible for the majority of repairs in the 120 buildings on the grounds of Basin Harbor.

Requirements

Preference given to canidate with 2 or more years expericence in Plumbing, Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC

Essential Functions Qualifications and Competencies:

Strong verbal and written English communication
Critical evaluation skills
A commitment to ethical practice and legal compliance
Valid Driver’s License
Related Experience and a willingness to do just about anything
Ability to work independently or as a member of a team
Resourcefulness and “outside-the-box” thinking
Pride of workmanship
Must be willing and able to pass a background check.
Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships with peers and staff.
Must be knowledge of and operate within the guidelines of the Basin Harbor Safety programs.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Have the stamina to work up to 10+ hours: sitting, standing and walking
Ability to bend, stoop, lift up to 25lbs, reach overhead and perform repetitive motion
May involve walking between venues and climbing stairs between floors
