Medical Assistant - Full Time

Status: Full Time, 36 hours per week

What you will need:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Formal Medical Assistant training.
• Current BLS certification.
• RMA or CMA; current credential or licensure within 3 months of employment.

What you will do:

• Perform patient in-take: vital signs, medical histories, update active medication list, verify information updated in electronic medical record.
• Perform EKG’s when ordered.
• Prepare patients for examination.
• Prepare equipment and rooms for exams and procedures.
• Draw blood, culture specimen collection, and perform routine urine tests.
• Complete lab requisitions.
• Administer medications/vaccines as directed by physician.
