Gensco, a regional leader in sheet metal manufacturing, is looking for a self-motivated, trainable up and coming Manufacturing Janitor to join our Swing Shift Team in Tacoma, WA!

**Training Schedule** -during 2 month training period will be working on day shift from 6:30am-2:30pm, then transition to swing shift after training

Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure all areas of Manufacturing Department are neat, clean, free from clutter, and safe
Perform janitorial/housekeeping duties
Box finished goods including bundling pipe
Complete other tasks assigned by Managers

Education/Experience/Skills

High school diploma or GED required
1-2 years of mechanical experience with electrical experience preferred
1-2 years of related experience required to include working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and electrical systems
Some experience and ability in mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting and maintenance techniques
Must have the ability to demonstrate working knowledge of mechanical/electrical principles and concepts
Be able to work with each department to provide support to ensure day-to-day maintenance issues are resolved with a reliability mindset
Regularly and repetitively lift 50 pounds and frequently lift 75 pounds using proper lifting techniques
Able to work at heights up to 30 feet
Able to move freely about the facility, climb stairs, stoop, bend, kneel, stand, and walk for extended periods of time up to and over 8 hours a day
Ability to work overtime as needed
