Production Supervisor - Nights

American Plastics, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, is a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative plastic-injection molded products for the household & garage storage and commercial cleaning end-markets. We are searching for a positive, enthusiastic, and compassionate person to fill a night shift supervisory role at our Findlay location. The primary role is to supervise all aspects of the people and assign them to presses in accordance with the priority list. A great communicator and proven people skills are required. Hours and shifts vary. This position will report to the Production Manager. 

The role will work 12/HR shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule. 

HOURS: 7pm-7am ET 

Responsibilities 

• Supervise, schedule, and assign 20 – 50 employees 

• Work with Set-up, Tooling and Maintenance on proper line layouts 

• Participate on continuous improvement teams for cycle time & scrap reduction 

• Analyze and develop workstation layouts for labor optimization 

• Other duties as assigned by Management 

• Timekeeping 

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in supervision (plant supervision a plus) 

• Excellent oral and written communication skills 

• May participate in housekeeping, 5S, and/or in Lean activities 

• Adhere to all safety procedures 

• Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills

•Prior injection molding experience a plus 

Essential Job Requirements: 

•At least 18 years of age. 

•Eligible to work in the United States of America 

•Pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen & Authorize Background Check 

•Must be able to work a 12-Hour Shift
