Responsibilities:

  • Perform testing and analysis of products utilizing measurement fixtures/gages/equipment. Understand customer, ASTM and other testing requirements and implement successfully.

  • Identify suspect product and disposition accordingly.  Communicate findings to appropriate personnel and assist in problem solving & continuous improvement.

  • Develop PPAP data and related forms.  Provide necessary support to Quality Engineering.

  • Perform gauge R&Rs to reduce variability in measurement devices.

  • Maintain & improve 5S conditions in the lab.

  • Develop and maintain close working relationships between cells/departments to promote exchange of ideas.

  • Ability to read/interpret blueprints in English & Metric including basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Perform basic statistical analysis.

  • MS office proficiency including use of Minitab.

  • Must be willing to work extra hours if needed.

  • Equivalent lab experience

  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills required
