Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Evenings in Findlay, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitor and employee access, and support a welcoming environment. You will help identify and report security-related concerns, communicate clearly with site personnel, and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records.
• Control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, materials, and deliveries in accordance with established site procedures, escalating discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and reporting observations promptly.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
