Position Summary:
Join a growing team where your success is directly rewarded. As a Fire Service Sales Representative, you'll build relationships with new and existing customers, helping them protect their people and property through fire alarm monitoring and inspection services. This role offers a competitive salary plus commission structure with strong earning potential, along with ongoing training and professional development opportunities to help you grow your expertise and build a long-term career in the fire and life safety industry.
Schedule:Β M-F, 7:30am β 4:30pm PST (may vary based on appointments)
Work Setting:Β Hybrid/Onsite
Pay:Β $75,000 -Β $175,300 annually (base pay + commissions)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
- Acquires new monitoring contracts and fire alarm inspections contracts.
- Creates and implements a sales strategy that makes sure you meet personal sales goals, as well as those set in place by the company.
- Travels to customer sites and conducts site surveys, meetings and presentations.
- Communicates with all current and potential customers on a regular basis, providing solutions as needed, and oversees all sales activity in your assigned sales territory.
- Coordinates with other members of the sales team and team leaders as needed to generate sales and provide excellent customer service.
- Performs duties as efficiently as possible, reducing costs when possible, and maintains receipts for all job-related expenses and submit them to accounting.

Education and/or Experience:
- College education and/or equivalent industry experience preferred
- Two to five years sales experience β outside sales preferred
- Experience working with contractors on bidding jobs required and with jurisdictional agencies on meeting code requirements preferred.
- Experience in team selling and working in interdisciplinary teams desirable.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:
- Intermediate MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, and occasionally will lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; Must be able to stand, walk, reach and bend for extended periods of time occasionally; Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus; Uses fingers, hands, arms when working with mouse, keyboard, monitors; possible use of headset while on calls.
