Executive Housekeeper, Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite

Tenaya Lodge is a 4-diamond resort located just outside the south entrance to Yosemite National Park. • Lead and manage a team of Housekeepers, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management and evaluation
• Maintain an inventory of supplies; order and distribute supplies and equipment
• Ensure that all reports, orders, and projects are completed
• Monitor and control expenses and payroll, while ensuring proper resources are in place
• Conduct housekeeping inspections and take corrective action as needed
• Ability to drive company vehicles throughout the property

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• At least five years of experience managing a team
• Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, washers, tools, fixtures, and cleaning solvents
• Knowledge of how to use Material Safety Data Sheets for cleaning solvents
• No degree required
• Must possess a valid driver's license

• Frequent standing, walking, climbing of stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying; use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing/washing duties
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Visual acuity is sufficient to inspect the cleanliness of rooms and surfaces
