Overview

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a Regional HR Manager to join our team to oversee the properties our national parks in California. As a Regional Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing HR functions, serving as a critical bridge between the sites and the broader human resources team. In this role, you will be responsible for five properties in California including Tenaya, Waybound Yosemite, Sequoia, and Kings Canyon.

Unit Description

Tenaya Lodge is a 4-diamond resort located just outside the south entrance to Yosemite National Park. Surrounded by beautiful trees and granite peaks, the property offers a wide range of outdoor experiences. The resort is also home to Waybound, a nearby collection of modern cabins and cottages that provide a more private, retreat style stay with access to resort amenities. At Tenaya Lodge, team members are part of a hospitality experience shaped by the outdoors in one of California’s most iconic destinations. 


Responsibilities

  • Align HR strategies with business goals across multiple locations to drive growth, engagement, and retention 
  • Secure buy-in and implement HR policies, initiatives, and compliance standards, conducting internal audits and managing risk 
  • Use HR analytics to guide decision-making and evaluate success in turnover, engagement, and training effectiveness 
  • Develop and oversee training programs for onboarding and continuous team member development 
  • Lead and support HR teams across two properties, handling complex employee relations and conflict resolution 
  • Ability to drive a company vehicle as needed on property

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a multi-unit or multi-location environment, with a minimum of 3+ years in a management or leadership role 
  • Experience managing teams that include both hourly and exempt employees in a high-volume, dynamic setting 
  • Proven background in employee relations, talent management, training, and regulatory compliance 
  • Proficiency in HR software required.  Workday, SHIFT, Equifax, and iCIMS experience a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and conduct thorough and unbiased investigations 
  • A valid driver's license is required

Physical Requirements

  • Successful completion of a background check, including MVR and drug test required
