Purple Exhibits – NY Area | Travel Required
Purple Exhibits is looking for a strong, hands-on Exhibit Build & Install Manager to join our team.
This person will be involved from the shop floor all the way to the show floor. You’ll help build it, prep it, pack it, ship it — and then travel to make sure it’s installed exactly the way it should be.
We are not looking for someone who just shows up.
We’re looking for someone who takes ownership.
What You’ll Do

Purple Exhibits is looking for a strong, hands-on Exhibit Build & Install Manager to join our team.
This person will be involved from the shop floor all the way to the show floor. You’ll help build it, prep it, pack it, ship it — and then travel to make sure it’s installed exactly the way it should be.

What You’ll Do
In Our Shop:
- Work alongside our production team building custom trade show exhibits
- Oversee finishing details and quality control
- Supervise packing and crating
- Make sure everything is organized, labeled, and protected
- Ensure projects leave the shop ready for smooth installation
On the Show Floor (Travel Required):
- Travel to major trade shows across the U.S.
- Lead installation and dismantle
- Manage and direct local labor crews
- Coordinate with show management and vendors
- Problem-solve on-site when needed
- Represent Purple Exhibits professionally in front of clients
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in trade shows, exhibits, fabrication, or similar build environments
- Strong understanding of construction and finishing work
- Comfortable using tools and working hands-on
- Leadership ability — able to manage crews and keep projects moving
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Calm under pressure and solution-focused
- Professional and polished in front of clients
- Willing and able to travel regularly
