VACANCY: Preschool 3K Lead Teacher (Part-Time)

VACANCY DESCRIPTION:  High Point Christian School (HPCS) is seeking a candidate to teach preschool (3-year-old). HPCS is seeking an enthusiastic, qualified, and creative Christian instructor committed to loving and teaching students. The ideal candidate will also prayerfully help students learn attitudes, skills, and subject matter that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible Christians to the praise and glory of God.

High Point Christian School (HPCS) was founded in 1975 as a ministry of what is now High Point Church, a non-denominational, evangelical fellowship serving the greater Madison area. HPCS offers a safe, caring and Christ-centered environment for grades K-8, as well as 3K and 4K preschool programs.
In 2019, we launched a second campus housed in Life Church to serve families in Mount Horeb and surrounding rural areas. Mount Horeb Christian School has grown into an independent school and now operates as part of our broader network, Impact Christian Schools.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• The teacher shall be a mature, sincere Christ follower, associate college graduate, certified or certifiable, who feels called of God to the teaching profession.
• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must have at least 6 credit hours of child development or early education classes.

PREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• ACSI Certified Teacher
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood.
• State of Wisconsin certified Teacher
• Three to five years of classroom early education teaching experience.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Salary 18,000-22,000 for part-time, commensurate with experience
• Position as Preschool Teacher is .45 FTE (Mon-Wed from 7:30am-12:30pm)
• Tuition Discount available for dependent children of employees
• Professional development to support teachers in continuing education and accreditation requirements
• Course curriculum will be provided for this program and resources to support classroom instruction will also be provided

POSITION START DATE:  August 6, 2026
