GEORGE SHERMAN CORPORATION has immediate opening for HVAC Installation Technician in Sussex County and the surrounding areas.

Successful applicants should have a thorough knowledge of HVAC systems and applications, as well as duct work design and a working knowledge of industry safety standards, best practices, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills. Applicants must also be willing to continually learn about the latest in HVAC technology and application.

Job Duties Include but not limited to:

• Removing old systems
• Installing new systems
• Performing routine maintenance
• Training junior team members
• Communicating with clients and customers
• Ordering and maintaining equipment
• Meeting local HVAC codes

Requirements:

• Universal EPA certification
• Education & experience in the HVAC industry
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check & a DOT drug test
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Possess a positive attitude & have a good attention for details
• HVAC basic & specific hand tools
• Customer service skills & the ability to effectively communicate with customers
  

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work in extreme conditions (Hot, Cold, Dirty, Wet, etc.)
• Must be able to bend, reach, squat, kneel, crawl
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to work in tight or high spaces
