The BSA & Fraud Analyst is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the USA PATRIOT Act and Bank fraud. This role involves monitoring for suspicious activities, leading investigations, and handling fraud-related incidents and reporting. The Analyst assists in maintaining and ensuring the effectiveness of the BSA/AML/OFAC program by staying current with relevant regulations, managing internal controls, reviewing daily alerts, and overseeing high-risk customer relationships.
Additionally, the Analyst supports Information Security, compliance, audit, and deposit administration functions through periodic reviews, internal audits, and collaboration on Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans, under the supervision of the Compliance Manager and BSA Officer.聽 There is opportunity for the selected individual to grow into the BSA Officer role.聽

| Responsibilites: 路 Use BSA/AML/OFAC and Fraud software to monitor transactions and identify suspicious activities, completing alerts and managing open investigation; Experience with Verafin is a plus. 路 Maintain forward looking view of BSA/AML/OFAC and Fraud systems with the ability to make recommendations for change and updates. 路 Lead investigations into fraud-related incidents, ensuring timely detection and response. 路 Prepare and submit Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) as required by regulations. 路 Review new account packets to ensure compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements and Customer Identification Program (CIP). 路 Conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews to assess customer risk profiles and identify potential red flags. 路 Manage and distribute BSA/AML/OFAC and Fraud Reporting 路 Maintain day-to-day BSA/AML/OFAC and Fraud operational process and tracking systems. 路 Ensure adherence to BSA/AML/OFAC and Fraud regulations and internal policies, maintaining accurate records and documentation. 路 Assist or develop and deliver BSA/AML/OFAC and Fraud training programs for bank staff. 路 Work closely with internal stakeholders to conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies. 路 All other duties as assigned. |
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
2-3yearsof knowledge and experience in current BSA/AML/OFAC, US PATRIOT ACT laws and regulations and Bank fraud with the ability to identify potential needs for Bank policy changes.
Sound knowledge in lending and deposit banking products
Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist(CAMS),Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), or other relevant certifications preferred.
Strong working knowledge of technology systems supporting BSA/AML/OFAC and Fraud activities.
Quantitative and qualitative analytical and problem-solving
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish relationships internally and externally.
Strong written and verbal communication
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-pressure environment
