Baptist Health is currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our Baptist Primary Care office located in Fleming Island. This is a Full-Time opportunity.

The experienced candidate will perform back-office duties, such as rooming patients and taking vitals.

Certified Medical Assistant, Job Responsibilities:

• Provides medical assistance to physician

• Obtains vital signs

• Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit

• Maintains medical documentation

• Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician

• Processes prescription requests and referrals

Experience Requirements:

• Over 2 years Patient Care Experience

• Experience in Physician's office

Education & Credential Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED Required

• Associate of Arts/Science Preferred

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

• Certified Medical Assistant Required
