We are looking for a talented Operational Excellence Specialist to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Fletcher, NC.

Job Summary:

Performs highly skilled non production activities independently supporting manufacturing processes in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment. Acts as a formal resource leading and coordinating others. Quickly and effectively adapts to change in the manufacturing environment.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

•    Ensuring Safety: By stopping work and reporting any major injury hazards immediately, you will help maintain a safe work environment.
•    Compliance and Reporting: Reporting any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard ensures compliance with HSE standards and promotes a culture of safety.
•    Environmental Stewardship: Recognizing how your work impacts the environment and working to minimize negative effects will contribute to sustainable practices.
•    Quality Improvement: Actively searching for improvement opportunities and implementing workable solutions will enhance overall quality and efficiency.
•    Leadership and Coordination: Leading and coordinating team members, especially those with less capability, will foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
•    Continuous Improvement: Developing projects that support continuous improvement activities will drive advancements in quality, safety, processes, and employee development.
•    Effective Communication: Communicating effectively with your team and support teams will ensure smooth operations and foster a positive work culture.
