Microtech Knives, Inc. is seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Production Associates. This role is designed to support production flow by assisting with repetitive, high-volume, and task-based operations that help streamline the manufacturing processes.

Production Associates are flexible team members who provide hands-on support across departments based on production needs, allowing skilled Microtech Associates to remain focused on core tasks while maintaining Microtech’s uncompromising quality standards.

Your Role

As a Production Associate, you will assist production teams by performing standardized support tasks that improve efficiency, flow, and throughput. This role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a strong team mindset.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Perform task-based production support operations, including but not limited to:
    • Wrapping finished knives
    • Pressing pocket clips
    • Installing inlays and glass breakers
    • Staging and organizing parts and components
    • Operating machinery
  • Support Assembly and other departments as production demands shift
  • Follow standardized work instructions and quality requirements
  • Conduct basic visual inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards
  • Maintain clean, organized, and efficient work areas
  • Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparation of products for internal transfer or shipment
  • Accurately complete any required production or tracking documentation
  • Adhere to all safety policies, PPE requirements, and workstation standards
  • Escalate defects, concerns, or abnormalities to supervision promptly

What You Need to Succeed

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Manual dexterity and basic hand-eye coordination
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Willingness to move between departments and tasks as needed
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Prior manufacturing, assembly, or production support experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced or task-driven environment

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand motions
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as required
  • Manufacturing environment with tools, machinery, and production noise
  • Must comply with PPE and safety requirements at all times
