GENERAL SUMMARY: The Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinical Research Nurse and Data Management is a specialized nursing role within the Pediatric Clinic. This position combines clinical expertise in pediatric hematology, oncology, hemophilia, sickle cell disease, and infusion therapy with data management responsibilities. The nurse will serve as a primary resource for patient care coordination and data collection for hemophilia and oncology programs, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards, including those set by the Children’s Oncology Group (COG) and the Hemophilia Foundation as a local treatment center. Additionally, the role involves active participation in clinical research, ensuring adherence to protocols and regulatory requirements. Performs all job duties and responsibilities in a courteous and customer-focused manner according to the Hurley Family Standards of Behavior.Â
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:Â Works under the direct supervision of a Manager or designee who reviews work for conformance with standard procedures.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED:Â May direct and coordinate the work of professional and ancillary personnel providing Nursing care to patients.
