The Radiology department is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for day shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with scheduled biweekly hours of 72.
Candidates must have two years of formal education beyond high school or an Associate's Degree and 1-3 months of job-related experience.
The position requires eligibility for registration or certification as a Radiological Technologist, which must be completed within six months of schooling.
Applicants should be trained in age-specific categories, including neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, and must be certified in CPR.

Position Summary:

Responsible for taking radiologic films of various parts of body to assist in detection of foreign bodies and diagnosis of diseases and injuries.

Required:

Possess two (2) years of formal education/training beyond high school or Associates Degree.
Possess 1-3 months of job-related experience.
Eligible for Registration/certification as Radiological Technologist. (Must pass certification within 6 mos. of completion of schooling).
Trained and educated in age-specific categories being served: neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric.
Ability to operate job equipment and to diagnose results from tests.
Certified in CPR.
