Position Summary

Ā 

Provides respiratory care services to patients who require emergency care, intensive care, therapeutic treatment, invasive and non-invasive monitoring, diagnostic testing and patient education for pulmonary and cardiopulmonary disorders.Ā  Monitors and maintains equipment and participates in quality assurance and improvement activities.

Required:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) or Registry Eligible, Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with successful completion of the Registry examination process within one year
  • BCLS certification
  • Licensed through the Michigan Board of Respiratory Care


Preferred:

  • 6 months to 1 year of job-related experience.
