This position is Full time FTE: 1.0 (80 hrs/per pay) 7:00 p.m.-7:30 a.m M-F No Weekends

Three (3) years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse is required (please show this on your application). 

Works as a multidisciplinary medical team within the scope of the Michigan State Nurse Practice Act to be an expect in all aspects of vascular access care. . The Vascular Access Team (VAT) nurse has responsibility and accountability for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of vascular access sites. The VAT nurse will deliver care based on defined standards of patient care and evidenced-based practice, while supporting the organizations' mission and vision. Complies with all appropriate safety and infection control standards. Participates in quality assessment and continuous quality improvement activities. Performs all job duties and responsibilities in a courteous and customer-focused manner according to the Hurley Family Standards of Behavior. Works under the direct supervision of a Nurse Manager, House Director or designee who assigns areas of responsibility and review results for compliance with established standards. May direct and coordinate the work of professional and ancillary personnel providing nursing care to patients.
