Job DetailsJob Location: Camco Plant - FLORENCE, KY 41042-3010Job Shift: 2nd ShiftThis position is responsible for blending raw materials according to specified formulas, transferring blended products to bulk containers (tanks/totes), and cleaning mixers and related equipment. The role supports production efficiency and product quality in a manufacturing environment. Blending Operations: Read and follow blending instructions precisely. Weigh and mix raw materials according to production orders. Log lot numbers accurately for traceability. Bulk Transfers: Transfer blended product from mixers to designated tanks or totes. Prepare transfer area and ensure correct materials are used. Operate standup forklift and RF scan gun as needed. Mixer Cleaning: Perform cleaning of mixers and blending equipment per sanitation protocols. Ensure equipment is ready for next production run. Safety and Quality Assurance: Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE (safety glasses, steel toe boots, respirator, dust mask). Report any safety or equipment issues immediately. Maintain product integrity and cleanliness standards. Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain blending and transfer equipment. Troubleshoot issues and request repairs when necessary. Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks. Teamwork and Communication: Work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision. Communicate effectively with team members and leadership. Exhibit punctuality and consistent attendance. Qualifications Ability to operate a standup forklift Use of RF scan gun Basic math and measurement skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift Attention to detail and task focus Adaptability to change Ability to pass respirator fit test High School Diploma or equivalent 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing blending and/or transfer operations 2 years PLC experience Light computer skills (label printing, internal systems)
