Maintaincompleteandaccuratemedicalrecordsforpatientsusingappropriatelabeling system.
Maintaincompleteandaccuratemedicalrecordsforpatientsusingappropriatelabeling system.
Accurately/efficientlytranscribemedicalordersanddistributestootherdisciplinesas needed.
Actasahelpfulresourceforpatients,families,physicians,andvisitorsatthenursing station.
Coordinateunitoperationstooptimizethedeliveryofsafepatient care.
Scheduletests,appointmentsandtransportationasneededinatimely manner.
Serveasaliaisonforinquiries,directingthemtotheappropriatepersonfor resolution.

Qualifications

CPRcertification preferred.
Oneyearofinpatientunitsecretaryexperience preferred.
Active enrollment in a healthcare program (such as nursing), familiarity with medical terminology,andexperienceinreadingandtranscribingmedicalordersarepreferred.
