Breast Imaging Assistant – Breast Imaging

Responsibilities:

1. Breast Imaging Tech Assistant will perform Softvue scans.
2. Breast Imaging Tech Assistant will provide patient care in changing the patient into a gown, walking patients to and from the waiting rooms, cleaning the Softvue scan table and cushions after each patient. 
3. Maintain supplies needed for Softvue studies. 
4. Will remain responsible for clerical duties when not assigned to the Softvue room. 
5. Must be proficient in using the EMR system for patient chart documentation PAC’s. 
6. Will assist patients to the restroom and/or with the use of bedpans and urinals. 
7. Performs all other duties as assigned. 

Work Schedule: 80 Hours Biweekly. Full Time 

Qualifications:

• Must possess intermediate computer skills to complete tasks associated with job duties for this position.
• Must possess good interpersonal communication skills. 
• Must possess the ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with individuals at various levels of the organization. 
• Must be able to work and function independently during performance of job duties. 

Licenses/Certification/Registrations/Education:

• Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED 
• BLS (American Heart Association) required within 30 Days
