CUSTOMER SERVICE & ORDER COORDINATOR

Trissl Brand Collective | TMT America, Inc.

Be Part of Something Growing

Trissl Brand Collective (“TBC”), under the executive operations of TMT America, Inc. in Florence, Alabama, is building a high-quality collection of complementary flooring and interior finishes brands with a focus on design, quality, innovation, and brand development. While TBC is a new company, it is deeply rooted in the flooring and building materials industry, drawing upon years of industry experience, the success of previous companies, and long-standing relationships with manufacturers, customers, distributors, designers, and industry professionals. TBC serves as a commercial platform for marketing and selling complementary brands that are stronger together while preserving the unique identity and value of each individual brand. We are building something new, but we are not starting from scratch—we are building upon a strong foundation and an established network to create something exceptional.

We are looking for a Customer Service & Order Coordinator who is organized, responsive, detail-oriented, and enjoys being the person who makes sure things get done. This is more than a traditional customer service position. You will play a central role in managing customer orders from start to finish, working closely with customers, sales, warehouse/distribution, purchasing, accounting, and management.

What You'll Do

Own the Order Process

  • Receive and manage all incoming customer orders, regardless of how they are received: phone, email, TBC sales team members, or the Trissl Brand Collective Shopify platform.
  • Enter and process orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Review orders for product availability, pricing, shipping requirements, and other details.
  • Provide order confirmations and keep customers informed throughout the process.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and distribution teams to ensure orders are prepared and shipped correctly.
  • Track shipments and help resolve backorders, shortages, damages, delivery issues, and other order concerns.
  • Monitor incoming orders across all channels to ensure nothing is missed, duplicated, delayed, or left without follow-up.

Deliver Exceptional Customer Service

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding orders, products, availability, shipping, and delivery.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer questions and concerns.
  • Build strong relationships with existing customers and provide a consistently positive customer experience.
  • Take ownership of customer issues and work with the appropriate internal teams to find solutions.

Support the Sales Team

  • Partner closely with TBC sales team members on customer and order-related needs.
  • Communicate customer needs, product questions, order issues, and opportunities to the sales team.
  • Assist with customer follow-up, open orders, backorders, and product availability.
  • Make basic outbound calls to prospective customers to introduce TBC brands and products, identify potential needs, and support new business opportunities.

Support a Growing Brand Portfolio

  • Develop a strong working knowledge of TBC's products and brands.
  • Learn new products and processes as additional brands are added to Trissl Brand Collective.
  • Assist with product information, customer communications, samples, and other sales-support activities.
  • Maintain accurate customer and order records and assist with reports and other administrative projects.
  • Identify opportunities to improve order accuracy, communication, customer service, and efficiency.

What We're Looking For

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented — accuracy matters.
  • Customer-focused — you genuinely care about providing excellent service.
  • A strong communicator — comfortable communicating professionally by phone and email.
  • A problem solver — you don't just identify a problem; you help find the solution.
  • A strong multitasker — able to manage multiple customers, orders, and priorities at once.
  • Proactive and dependable — you take ownership and follow things through.
  • Comfortable working independently while also being a collaborative team member.
  • Curious and willing to learn — our business and product portfolio are growing, and you will learn multiple brands and product lines.

Preferred Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, customer service, operations, or a related field is a plus.
  • At least 2 years of experience in customer service, order processing, sales support, administrative support, or a related role is preferred.
  • Experience in flooring, interior finishes, building materials, construction, distribution, manufacturing, or another product-based business is highly beneficial.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with QuickBooks or other order-entry, accounting, ERP, or e-commerce systems is a plus.
  • Experience working with an online ordering platform or Shopify is helpful but not required.

Why This Role Matters

This position is at the center of customer experience. When a customer places an order—whether by phone, email, through a salesperson, or online—you will help make sure that order gets where it needs to go.

You will have the opportunity to learn about multiple brands, products, customers, and business functions while becoming an important part of the continued growth of Trissl Brand Collective.

If you're someone who enjoys being organized, helping people, solving problems, and keeping things moving, we'd like to hear from you.
