JOB SUMMARY

At Turfway Park Racing and Gaming, the Food and Beverage Shift Leader will oversee daily operations, supervise team members, and ensure that our customers receive outstanding service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Duties

  • Supervise team members, assign duties, and create schedules.
  • Monitor performance and ensure duties are performed efficiently.
  • Report any issues that arise during the shift to management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health, and safety standards.
  • Coach team members and train new staff.
  • Handling customer issues and employee disputes.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

 

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Shift Leader or in a similar role.
  • Experience creating shift schedules.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to obtain KHRC License.
