McLeod Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation team. In this role, you will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide treatment services that help patients regain mobility, function, and independence following illness or injury.

Schedule

Full-Time
80 Hours Biweekly

What You'll Do

Implement treatment plans established by a licensed Physical Therapist
Provide therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of diagnoses and functional limitations
Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the therapy team
Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Rehab Aides, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care

About Our Rehabilitation Team

Physical Therapy serves both inpatient and outpatient populations across a variety of specialty areas. Our collaborative team of Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, and Rehab Aides provides comprehensive rehabilitation services, including general, pediatric, and aquatic therapy.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant or related Health Science field
Current South Carolina PTA license required
BLS Certification required (American Heart Association)

Experience

New graduates are encouraged to apply
Zero to less than one year of related experience preferred
