Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Days in Florence, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, documenting visitor activity, and communicating professionally with employees, drivers, and guests. You will use technology to support site operations, provide outstanding customer service, and help deter security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access and entry records.
• Coordinate visitor, contractor, and delivery access in accordance with site procedures while helping to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
