A Day in the Life:

  • Guide strategic initiatives, implement continuous improvement methodologies, and develop high-performing teams that deliver effective solutions for our customers worldwide.

  • Through cross-functional collaboration, you'll enhance manufacturing processes, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance while fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.

  • This leadership role involves directing manufacturing teams across various product lines while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • BS degree required. Preferred Fields of Study: Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, Chemistry, or related technical field.

  • Advanced degree highly preferred.

  • Six Sigma, PMP, or other relevant professional certifications highly valued.

Experience

  • 6-8 years of experience in manufacturing operations management, with 5 years leading teams.

  • Demonstrated experience in regulated environments (ISO 13485, cGMP, FDA)

  • Experience managing budgets and driving cost optimization initiatives.

  • Experience with change management and process optimization.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of spray drying operations

  • Strong track record of implementing continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, PPI)

  • Expert knowledge of manufacturing KPIs, productivity metrics, and financial management

  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic operational plans

  • Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated success in team development

  • Excellence in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Expertise in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Success in adapting to changing priorities

  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance

  • Willingness to travel as required (<15%, likely little to no travel required)
