The Post and Courier Advertising Intern - FMU

As a Post and Courier Pee Dee Advertising Intern, you'll be gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing while supporting the overall objectives of the marketing team and greater organization. It's an opportunity to learn and develop skills in a dynamic environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Video Production: Shoot and edit promotional videos for local businesses, including ads and testimonial videos, utilizing AI and other platforms
• Client Prospecting: Research and compile contact information for potential clients.
• Client Outreach: Coordinate introductory meetings with business owners or marketing representatives on behalf of the publisher.
• Client Meeting Support: Attend meetings with clients or potential clients, taking detailed notes.
• Data Analysis: Gather and analyze data surrounding clients digital campaigns, offer recommendations to optimize the clients spend.
• Administrative Support: Perform miscellaneous tasks as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current enrollment at Francis Marion University
• Cumulative GPA no lower than 3.0
• Pursuant of a degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field of study
