Job DetailsJob Location: Florence, OR 97439Position Type: Full TimeStarting Wage: $58,656.00 annual salary   The Slot Supervisor is responsible for monitoring the successful operations and performance of the Slot/Keno/Bingo departments through effective leadership, promoting excellent guest service.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Performs all functions and responsibilities of the Slot/Keno/Bingo Attendants as needed, covering shifts due to PTO, staff shortages or vacations. Assists the Slot Manager in administrative tasks, Team Member training and support including evaluations and corrective actions. Prepares Team Members paperwork, work schedules and payroll information, submitting for review in a timely manner. Provides and receives first level communications to and from the Slot/Keno/Bingo Attendants in order to distribute daily tasks and ensure departmental objectives are met. Serve as a liaison to all other departments, ensuring quality service is provided and State or Federal specifications and standards are met. Assists in the review and evaluation of the Slots departmental performance, providing suggestions on steps to resolve unsatisfactory results or conditions. Provides witnessing/authorizing signature for slot jackpot payments as described by department policies. Authorizes guest services as predetermined by complimentary procedures. Maintains knowledge of applicable gaming laws (Federal, State and Tribal) and regulations as well as internal controls. Maintains professional communication with Slot Tech Team Members regarding departmental processes and services. Maintains awareness of, and effectively communicates to other Team Members, company promotions, events and programs. Performs responsibilities in compliance with the current departmental policies & procedures, staying up to date on any changes. Other duties as directed by management.   WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure for those working on the casino floor.   The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and can occasionally reach a high level for short periods of time. QualificationsEXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND ELIGIBILITY Minimum age requirement for this position is 21 years old. Must have 3 years’ experience working in the gaming industry or equivalent combination of education and experience. Intermediate understanding of computer programs, with proficiency in all Windows applications required. Possess or obtain a Food Handlers Permit within 30 days of employment. Must possess strong leadership, organizational, communication, human relations and decision-making skills. Must have general knowledge of Slot/Keno/Bingo operations. Must participate in and maintain Title 31 requirements.   Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing or by other acceptable means. Comply with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing. Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission. Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department and for special casino events.     PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to exchange information efficiently using an earpiece on a multichannel radio. Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 12 hours. Must be able to carry, reach, twist, bend and squat frequently.
