In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the safe, efficient operation of our equipment and facilities. If you have strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to safety, and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply and grow your career with us.       The Maintenance Technician oversees ongoing production maintenance, troubleshoots issues, and performs equipment repairs. Their responsibilities encompass fixing machinery, plumbing, heating, and wiring. Additionally, they conduct safety inspections to ensure compliance with standards and coordinate major repairs as needed.       DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:       Assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.       Troubleshooting machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance.       Reading, interpreting, and following instructions and operation manuals.       Maintaining a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery.       Cleaning, repairing and installing equipment and parts as needed.       Operating a variety of hand and power tools.       Maintaining a clean and organized work area.       Complying with health and safety regulations.       Performing general maintenance work on equipment as assigned. Qualifications Knowledge and ability to operate hand and power tools. Mechanical aptitude and ability. Strong computer skills. Physical dexterity. Good troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of health and safety regulations. High school diploma/GED. 2+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar role. Trade or vocational school graduation preferred. Bilingual communication skills (Spanish) - preferred Must be able to navigate machinery and facility to diagnose issues and plan repairs or maintenance. Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed. Prolonged periods standing. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
