McLeod Cardiology Associates Florence is seeking a PRN Night Shift Physician Assistant to join their team of dedicated providers!

Qualifications/Training:

  • Minimum of a master’s degree of Science in Physician Assistant studies required.

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations:

  • State of South Carolina Certification as Physician Assistant.
  • Prescriptive privileges.

Job Description:

  1. Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
  2. Assesses needs of patients as assigned based on data collected through history, observation, physical examination, and analysis of diagnostic data.
  3. Records physical findings, and formulates plans and prognosis, based on patient's condition.
  4. Plans, implements, and coordinates care to meet the holistic age specific needs of patients.
  5. Fosters an environment that demonstrates caring, compassion, and respect for all patients, families, and visitors.
  6. Demonstrates professionalism and integrity.
  7. Performs physical examinations and preventative health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of physician.
  8. Discusses case with physician and other heal professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan.

McLeod Health is also composed of approximately 15,000 team members and more than 90 physician practices throughout its 18-county service area. With seven hospitals, McLeod Health operates three Health and Fitness Centers, a Sports Medicine and Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, Hospice and Home Health Services. The system currently has 988 licensed beds, including Hospice and Behavioral Health.
