What your day-to-day will look like:Ā 

  • EnsureĀ safetyĀ regulations and policies are strictly adhered to while installing,Ā maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipmentĀ 

  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on conveyance equipment using established job plans, procedures, and technical manuals to ensureĀ optimalĀ performanceĀ 

  • Conduct maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics and robotic work cells toĀ maintainĀ equipment availability and process efficiencyĀ 

  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all material handling equipment components, ensuring minimal downtimeĀ 

  • Maintain and troubleshoot motors, photo eyes, relays, proximity sensors, solenoids, motor starters,Ā tachs, and related equipmentĀ 

  • Work collaboratively with journey workers and coordinate activities with upstream and downstream operations partnersĀ 

  • Complete work assignments based on technical documents and instructions in compliance with relevant provisions and safety regulationsĀ 

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive equipment reliability and operational efficiencyĀ 

  • Repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walkingĀ Ā 

  • Lifting parts and tools weighing on average 20 pounds, occasionally weighing up to 49 pounds  

  • Standing/walking on concrete surfaces for 12+ hour shiftsĀ

  • High School Diploma or equivalentĀ 

  • 1+ years of PC software experience including Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookĀ 

  • Vocational/technical training or an associate degree or above, OR 1+ years of RME (Reliability Maintenance Engineering) experienceĀ 

  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing operational itemsĀ 

  • Knowledge of mathematics and experience with measurement reading and interpretationĀ 

  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidaysĀ 

  • Ability to meet theĀ minimumĀ qualifying score on a Mechanical Aptitude TestĀ 

  • Ability to enroll in and attend a 9-week training program at one of four designated training providers (location determined post-interview)Ā 

  • This position requires schedule flexibility.Ā While you will receive an initial shift assignment, your work schedule is subject to change based on business demands, operational requirements, and staffing needs.Ā Advance notice will be provided when possibleĀ

Preferred qualifications:Ā 

  • 4+ years of military experienceĀ 

  • Experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance proceduresĀ 

  • Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing material handling equipment (MHE)Ā 

  • Experience implementing safety standards and protocols in operational environmentsĀ 

  • Experience reading blueprints and electrical schematicsĀ 

  • Familiarity with robotics, conveyance systems, or automated equipmentĀ 

  • Track recordĀ of contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in an operational environmentĀ

Estimated compensation for this position:

49,920.00 – 50,481.60 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
