Closer

Responsible to ensure that all files have been evaluated and loans are closed in conformance with underwriting guidelines.

• Reviews each approved mortgage to determine that all conditions have been met prior to each closing. 
• Responsible for completion of all closing documents as well as scheduling each loan closing, and having these documents typed and presentable prior to the closing date. 
• Maintain a positive relationship with the borrower, real estate broker, and Title Company and be able to request and obtain specified and required documents for closing. 
• Verify the accuracy and consistency of each document specific to each loan. 
• Knowledgeable of the closing process and be able to answer any and all questions the borrower might have. 
• Required to acquire and deliver all documents to the Title Company, real estate broker and lending officer for the closing keeping everyone informed. 
• Record loan information in accordance with government standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years residential loan closing experience. 
• Encompass Experience Preferred
• Must have experience with Bond Loans
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
