About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Database Administrator to join our growing team in Florham Park, NJ. In this critical role, you'll be responsible for maintaining the integrity, performance, and security of our organization's databases. Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain database management systems (DBMS) to ensure optimal performance
Monitor database health, performance metrics, and capacity planning to prevent downtime
Develop and implement data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
Manage database security, user access controls, and permissions
Perform database tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies
Collaborate with development teams to support application database requirements
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) or similar role
Proficiency with relational database systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL
Strong knowledge of database security, backup/recovery, and performance tuning
Experience with SQL scripting, stored procedures, and query optimization
Familiarity with cloud-based database platforms (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, etc.) is a plus
Relevant certifications (OCA, MCSA, or similar) preferred
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
