Rate: Starting hourly rate - without experience: $30.25 & with experience: $32.53

Primary Duties

The primary duties and responsibilities of a Police Officer include the prevention and suppression of crime, the investigation of offenses and the arrest of offenders, the protection of life and property, and the preservation of the peace.

This is a safety sensitive position
Performs other duties as requested

Requirements

Job Minimum Requirements

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen
Must have either a high school diploma or G.E.D.
Minimum age of 21
Valid driver's license
U.S. Military Service Or
A minimum of 64 hours of college credit, Criminal Justice is preferred

Written Exam
Oral Interview
Physical agility testing
Background investigation
Polygraph
Psychological exam
Chief's Interview
Mayor's Interview
Pre-placement physical and drug screen exams
