Service Technician – The Groves Apartments

With a strong focus on leasing success, our team is currently completing a high volume of make-ready turns, giving you the chance to sharpen your skills and make a direct impact on the community’s success. We also offer monthly commission opportunities tied to renewals and turn completions, so your hard work truly pays off.

What You’ll Do

  • Complete maintenance work orders and make-ready turns efficiently and on schedule
  • Assist with preventative maintenance programs across the property
  • Communicate daily with the Service Manager and Community Manager on unit readiness, property needs, and resident concerns
  • Ensure all maintenance work meets quality and safety standards
  • Track and manage maintenance inventory, reporting low supplies as needed
  • Perform grounds upkeep, trash removal, and routine property inspections
  • Maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the community
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and team members
  • Use AppFolio to manage work orders and communication
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to maintenance emergencies
  • Work collaboratively with team members and vendors to meet deadlines and occupancy goals

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 1 year of maintenance experience (multifamily preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of carpentry and general maintenance skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Comfort using ladders while carrying equipment
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
  • A team-first mindset, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
