Work location: 4400 Long Prairie Rd., Flower Mound, TX 75028
Work hours: Full time, Nights
Department highlights:
  • 75–100 deliveries per month, offering a steady and engaging clinical environment
  • 8 Labor & Delivery rooms, 2 operating rooms, and 2 triage rooms
  • No OB Emergency Department
  • 24/7 in‑house anesthesia coverage for continuous support and patient safety


Here’s What You Need
  • Nursing Diploma — Required
  • Associate Degree in Nursing — Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing — Preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse — Required
  • Minimum 2 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery — Highly preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • Registered Nurse (RN) — Required upon hire
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support — Required prior to providing independent patient care; maintained quarterly
  • ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support — Required within 90 days of hire
  • NRP – Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program — Required within 90 days of hire
  • CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training — Required within 90 days of hire; maintained annually
  • NRPA – Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program — Required within 90 days of hire
  • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (IFM):
    • If newly hired with perinatal experience and have never taken IFM — required within 6 months
    • If no experience in perinatal nursing — required within 18 months
  • AWHONN – Advanced Fetal Monitoring — Required within 18 months (after 6 months of experience with EFM)
Skills
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

 

 
What You Will Do
As a nurse, you will focus on responding to others priorities regarding safety, physical and psychological needs while paying close attention to maintenance of comfort and human emotion during health and illness, while providing safe patient care.
