Position Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bilingual (Japanese/English) Purchasing Administrative Coordinator to support our Purchasing team. This role is ideal for a strong administrative professional with excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English. While prior purchasing experience is a plus, it is not required. The primary focus of this role is to provide administrative and coordination support to ensure smooth and efficient purchasing operations, particularly in collaboration with global teams in Japan.   Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the Purchasing department Serve as a bilingual liaison between Japanese and English-speaking stakeholders Assist with purchase order processing, tracking, and documentation Maintain accurate records, files, and reports related to purchasing activities Coordinate with vendors, internal departments, and corporate teams Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Support communication and reporting with headquarters and global teams in Japan Perform general administrative duties, including scheduling, correspondence, and data entry Qualifications Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English (written and verbal required) Strong administrative and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word Experience using Excel formulas such as VLOOKUP and SUMIFS (or similar) Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Purchasing or supply chain experience is a plus, but not required   Work Environment: This is an office-based role with frequent interaction across departments and international teams. The position requires a high level of accuracy and timeliness, as data and reporting shared with headquarters directly impact business operations. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with numerical data in Excel are essential for success in this role.
