Essential Functions

  • Retail and Cost Accounting, Inventory Control, CIP/WIP, and Fixed Assets.
  • Assist in preparing Monthly and yearly financial statements for the corporation.
  • Assist in preparing documents for the annual audit by external auditors.
  • Assist in providing Leadership with all documents and reports needed to manage company on daily, monthly, and yearly basis.
  • Responsible for general ledger account reconciliations assigned by Management.
  • Work closely with Accounting, Wholesale, and Retail teams to ensure accurate and timely financials, including any required research to resolve problems/issues that may arise with system imports/exports, reconciliations, and reports.
  • Extensive knowledge of all Microsoft applications, PDI Technologies, and Yardi software.
  • Assist in project and software implementations as assigned by Management.
  • Create and maintain/update process documents with the current steps necessary to perform each job function.  Cross train individuals in the event of your absence. 
  • Specialize in use of computer systems (including Excel) at Support Center.
  • Additional duties assigned by Management as needed.

Qualifications


Requirements

  • 4 year College Degree or Accounting experience equivalency.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience required.
  • Previous experience with PDI/Enterprise, Microsoft GP, and Yardi. (Preferred)

  • Advanced-level computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office, emphasis on Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Detail oriented with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated record of working collaboratively with other professionals.

Other Duties

This is an office role from Mon-Fri 8am-5pm.
