As a member of our exceptional team, you'll have the unique opportunity to care for residents living with spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, stroke, neurological disorders, respiratory failure, and other complex medical conditions. At MSCC, your expertise, compassion, and dedication allow you to become an integral part of each resident's daily life. You'll build meaningful relationships with residents and their families while working alongside a supportive interdisciplinary team committed to providing exceptional, person-centered care. What You'll Do Provide compassionate, direct care to residents in a long-term care setting. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility. Work collaboratively with nurses, respiratory therapists, and other members of the healthcare team to meet each resident's individualized care needs. Support residents' physical, emotional, and psychosocial well-being through compassionate, resident-centered care. Safely assist with resident transfers and mobility using ceiling lifts and other patient-handling equipment. Observe and report changes in residents' conditions to the nursing team. Maintain accurate documentation and follow established care plans. Foster a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents and their families. Schedule Full-time 40 hours per week Every Other Weekend Licensure Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Mississippi without restrictions. Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Experience Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is preferred but not required.
